Tweet Speaker – Listen to Twitter for iphone, ipad Review

Twitter has been in the Apple news quite a bit lately. With the release of iOS5, the iPhone introduces Twitter to many people who had only heard of it in the news. The App Store is full of third party clients for Twitter and many find remarkable ways to slice and dice the constant stream of information that comes from the little blue bird. While most apps give you extra features or let you manage your feed in ways you wouldn’t expect (like as a 2-D platformer), they all seem fixed on the whole “reading” your tweets.

Bugging Me for iPhone, iPad, ipod-touch Review

Are people bugging you? Of course they are! Say this neighbor who always borrows stuff and ‘forgets’ to give it back? The old school friend who always happens to leave when it’s his round? (cheapskate!).

Make some noise on Twitter!

Now we’ve all been using Twitter for ages, for both social and business related posts, but wouldn’t it be awesome if you could just add a oomph, like say a little noise? Wouldn’t it be cool if something great happened, like scoring the winning goal and you could just share that sound?

ContactsXL 3 + Sync With Facebook for iPhone Review

Posted By Nathan Kline June 8, 2011 | PDT 12.22AM

Facebook is an enormous, all encompassing social network that done a remarkable job at fitting itself into every crevasse and crack of our lives. It is not uncommon for Facebook to be used in a person’s daily browsing more than Google. Part of what makes Facebook so addicting is the way developers have found to integrate the service with other areas outside of Facebook’s purview. ContactsXL third version of it’s contact management app has also been bitten by the facebug. The biggest addition that the app has made has been the integration of Facebook contacts into the app.

ChatTime for iPhone Review

While the iphone’s built in phone app more than gets the job done when it comes to voice communication, one thing you can’t get away from is long distance calls. In spite of most cell phone plans offering free long distance within the customer’s nation, international calls are still billed at a rather expensive rate. Here in the U.S. for example, a long distance call to a London landline would cost $1.49 per minute! For those users that make a lot of international calls, this can become a problem quickly. With ChatTime that same call is only $.02 per minute.

We all love to take video with our iPhones and we especially love sharing them without our friends and family. While the options for sharing photos from the iPhone pepper the app store landscape, there are relatively few options for video. Viddy Inc. has decided to step in and fill this need with their video sharing client Viddy.

Tweetbot for iPhone Review

For most people the thought of a third-party Twitter client for their iPhone is absurd. Why use a third party client when Twitter provides a free app with all the fixin’s ala Twitter’s acquisition of Tweetie back in April of last year? On the other hand, there are many avid users of third-party clients that stand vehemently behind their apps and when you use an service like twitter as much as some do in a day, it helps to have a well crafted tool to interface with that service.
