Note-taking shmote-taking…why not make the traditionally ho-hum experience of jotting down thoughts and making notes more enjoyable? With the Write app you can do just that! It provides a huge range of features, tools, and options for serious writers or just active daydreamers.
The Write app uses a full screen style that allows a writer the largest area available, and which works in portrait or landscape mode. There is even an orientation lock feature that provides support for those who like to lie in bed, on the grass, or on the sofa while jotting notes and ideas. Each set of notes is fully customizable and can have a large variety of themes or fonts applied for effect.
If privacy is an issue, the app offers several different layers of protection. The first layer is the custom PIN that keeps the entire app safe from snoops. If, however, the app user is being forced to hand over their PIN, there is a unique Emergency PIN that opens up a dummy collection of journal entries and notes. If writings need to be forwarded to another person or to a computer, there is the in-app email feature that sends pages with only a tap of the screen.
There are many note taking and writing apps, including MindNote and Simplenote, but the Write app is designed for less formal jotting and for providing the easiest use possible.
The cost for the app is $1.99, and all updates are available for no additional fees. This app functions with iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
If you are looking for an intuitive app to make notes or jot ideas, the Write app is going to be an ideal tool for the job.
