DOCUMENTS EVERYWHERE - SYNCHRONIZATION AND SENDING

The free Dropbox.com service can be used to wirelessly auto synchronize between all you devices. You can also use the iTunes File Sharing feature to import and export your files. Also import documents of HTML, TXT and Markdown format form other apps using the ‘Open in...’ dialog.

Documents can be send as email with all formatting preserved. And of course you can print them using AirPrint.

Please note: Essay uses HTML as it’s file format which in itself is the base format of all web pages and therefore well supported and documented. You can use it in most popular word processors. Documents in other formats need to be converted to HTML before you can use them in Essay. If you import text files please make sure they use the UTF-8 encoding to preserve special character information. To import from other Dropbox locations or from other services please use 'Open in' from the Dropbox app or the other respective apps.
